agent.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Teva Pharmaceutical Industries is an Israeli, multinational pharmaceutical giant and the World\u2019s No.1 producer of\ngeneric pharmaceuticals. Every single minute of every day, approximately 2,500 Teva packs are dispensed in the\nEU.<\/p>\n<p>At the Company\u2019s Debrecen plant in Hungary, engineers were using a peristaltic pump with a neoprene tube to\ndose an acidic pharmaceutical agent but were seeking a better solution because of concerns over chemical\nresistance of the pump tube.<\/p>\n<p>Having also tried EPDM peristaltic tubes, the customer considered a magnetic coupled plastic gear pump but\nWanner's distributor, Verder Hungary, proposed a Hydra-Cell G13 with polypropylene liquid head and PTFE\ndiaphragms.<\/p>\n<p>This combination proved to have the best chemical resistance and the Hydra-Cell multi-diaphragm design\nprovided a virtually pulse free flow.
