kilometres in length, need periodic cleaning to\nremove dust and dirt. Because of their size and weight they are cleaned on site by means of\nsprays. Hot (70\u00baC) recycled cleaning liquid is delivered to the nozzles at high pressure from purpose\ndesigned mobile units with integral reservoir tank and pump system. The liquid is fed back into tank\nthrough 30-micron filters. Hydra-Cell G12 pumps have been chosen for this work - preferred over\nalternatives because of their pressure capability, tolerance of solid particles and easy\nmaintenance.
