Special Pumps

Vertical End Suction ESV & ESLV Range

Vertical End Suction ESV & ESLV Range

Key Features:

  • Pumpsense ESV / ESLV Vertical centrifugal pumps employ single entry impellers and conform to production classification OH3A of Hydraulic Institute Standards.
  • ESV / ESLV pumps offer compact space-saving advantages compared to horizontal pumps. Drive motor can be mounted on the motor stool and coupled flexibly to the pump. Alternatively, pumps can be driven through a Cardan shaft with a motor mounted on a separate floor. These features protect the motor where the pump pit is prone to flooding.
  • Pump hydraulic designs are verified by numerical testing using CFD analysis.
  • Every pump is tested vertically using either shaft motor or actual drivers. In addition, every pump is supplied with a full set of QA documents relating to materials, dimensional accuracy, pressure integrity, and impeller balancing.
  • ESV / ESLV pumps are offered with many materials, mechanical seals, and mounting options. Pumps are often engineered to meet customers’ specific requirements in terms of construction and dimensional features and performance requirements.

Major applications included:

Irrigation | Chilled water application | Heating & air conditioning | Cooling tower application | Booster application

VSP Range Vertical Single Stage Sump Pump

VSP Range Vertical Single Stage Sump Pump

The vertical extended shaft single stage centrifugal pump have an important place within the pumping industry. It performs as no other pump can, the function of transferring Liquid from below ground reservoirs or enclosed tanks. While the vertical pump is not necessarily expensive, its design is in many ways more critical than those of more common centrifugal pumping units. Attention must be paid to pump operating speeds, bearing arrangements, shaft design and construction.

Overview

The VSP Range, available in 37 different sizes, is a sump pump with a shrouded, semi-open, open and non-clog type impeller designed for clean water, process water, solid handling, sewage water application etc.

These Pumps are heavy duty modular design maximizing flexibility to suit customer specification. Design are in compliance with the Applicable Standard ISO 13709/API 610 (VS4). Advance computer techniques including 3D modelling, FEA and CFD.

Optional Features:

  • Long Shaft Single Stage End Suction Centrifugal Pumps
  • Shrouded or Semi Open Impeller Design
  • Design available Up to 6 meter (20 ft) of Sump Depth
  • High Strength Steel used as Shaft, based on the pit depth design can accommodate the intermediate shaft as required.
  • Strong & Rigid Support bearing of variety of MOC is available (SAE 660/ Cutless Rubber/ Thordon – Non-matelic Bush etc)
  • Lubrication option using product or external flushing (Grease Lubrication as Optional)
  • Level Controls (Level measuring instruments and float switch): A float switch, rod and float are typically used in sump pump applications. This is a common option where liquid levels vary, requiring starting and stopping of the pump
  • Heavy – duty Match Pair Back to Back Angular contact Ball Bearing (Thrust Bearing)
  • ATEX Compliance, on application
  • A wide Range of Alloys Available on Request including NACE certification
  • Sole Plate can be customized based on the tank/ pit opening – Both Circular and Rectangular Opening is available.
  • Shaft Sealing option is available both Gland Packed and Mechanical Seal
  • Bearing Isolator is used to protect the thrust bearing
